OUR STAFF
Experienced leaders committed to developing great players, teammates and Tigers.

Director of Football & Senior Head Coach
A graduate of Uxbridge Secondary School, Jeff excelled in football, AAA hockey, rugby and baseball before continuing his football career at Western University. He earned OUA All-Star honours in 2003 and served as team captain in 2004.
Selected 18th overall by the Toronto Argonauts in the 2005 CFL Draft, Jeff was named the team’s Rookie of the Year and later helped capture the historic 100th Grey Cup in 2012. His honours included the Leo Dandurand Trophy as the East Division’s Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman and recognition as both an East Division and CFL All-Star.
Jeff later served as president of the CFL Players’ Association from 2016 to 2020. Now a firefighter serving Uxbridge and Richmond Hill, he brings his leadership, community commitment and passion for youth development back to the Tigers program.

General Manager
As a former USS Tigers football player, Michael experienced firsthand the lasting impact the sport can have on young athletes. That connection inspired him to launch the Restore the Roar campaign, bringing together alumni, local businesses, community organizations and school leaders to return football to Uxbridge Secondary School.
Michael’s greatest highlights have been seeing the dedication of the coaching staff, the growth and commitment of the players, and the community’s enthusiastic support—especially at the program’s first Homecoming game.

Today, JD gives back as a dedicated public servant and Tigers coach. He is passionate about helping young athletes improve as football players while developing the character and toughness needed to succeed in life.

Junior Line Coach
Ryan developed his passion for football at Huron Heights Secondary School in Newmarket before continuing his career at York University. A versatile player, he contributed on both the offensive and defensive lines and served as a long snapper on special teams, earning an invitation to the CFL Combine in his final year.
